We were thrilled that our debut book Christmas Cabaret sold out and raised £2,450 for the Children’s Appeal as part of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity. I had a wonderful time sharing this book in schools and was delighted with the response, especially when Ellie raided her Mum’s veggie drawer to recreate some of the characters. A highlight of my journey as an author so far was when Michael chose to dress up as the Pasa Doble Parsnip for World Book Day. Can anything top that?
